TRAVELERS from Shenzhen can take direct high-speed trains to Yangshuo, a popular tourism destination in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, starting from Thursday when the new operation schedule of Guangzhou Railway Group Corp. takes effect.
The train G2902 will leave Shenzhen North Railway Station at 7:21 a.m. and arrive at Yangshuo at 10:05 a.m.
There will be other changes under the new schedule:
The operator will add four round-trip and a single-trip trains between Shenzhen North Railway Station and the Chaoshan Station;
The G80 Futian-Beijing train will stop at only seven stations, instead of the previous 17 stations, after the adjustment. It will stop at Guangzhou, Changsha, Wuhan, Zhengzhou, Shijiazhuang and Beijing, and a single-trip will take 8 hours and 45 minutes, shortening from the previous 10 hours and 29 minutes;
The former G78 to Wuhan will be extended to Yichang East Station and be recoded as G1028/9;
And the train G6501 between Guangzhou and Futian will be extended to Foshan West Station.
Under the new schedule, Shenzhen North Railway Station will operate 251.5 round-trip of trains including 132 round-trips on the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong line, and 119.5 round-trips on the Shenzhen-Hangzhou line.
