Major responsibilities:

1) to implement national laws, regulations, policies and guidelines on financial affairs; to draft development strategies for local financial development, medium- and long-range programs, annual plans, as well as relevant local policies and measures to encourage financial development; to direct the implementation of the approved ones;

2) to assist its governing financial administration authority's Shenzhen office in supervising local financial institutions; to improve the communication and coordination mechanisms for local government and financial institutions; to provide efficient services for local financial development;

3) to direct the maintenance of local financial order; to prevent and reduce financial risks; to encourage the preservation and increment of local state-owned financial assets; to ensure local financial market's safe and stable operation as well as disciplines;

4) to coordinate the recommendation procedures for local enterprises to be listed, as well as the delisting procedures for local listed companies; to cooperate with relevant departments in encouraging the reform of local investment system and the assets reorganization of local state-owned enterprises;

5) to undertake other assignments given by the municipal party committee, the municipal government and other governing authorities.

6) to undertake the regular affairs of the Shenzhen Municipal Directing Office for Preventing and Reducing Financial Risks;
